FC Barcelona 3-0 AC Osasuna : Barcelona vs Osasuna



FC Barcelona came into this soccer match, to dominate and dominate they did and thus, came into the match with this formation, not looking to score a lot of goals and not looking to concede a lot of goals, on the part of FC Barcelona, the whole match strategy, was clearly articulated, with the  tight midfield and the tight defence. Putting in their most talented striker, the 1 striker which they are sure, will always deliver in a match, it might also be that, that FC Barcelona's coach, thought that AC Osasuna isn't much of a threat and thus, put in just the 1 striker. Whichever way, they won with 3 goals and none to AC Osasuna,which lost to Barca. Ferran Torres's 1st goal, saw FC Barcelona leading by 1 goal, AC Osasuna fouled through Olmo and FC Barcelona was given a penalty, which Olmo played and was caught by Herrera,AC Osasuna's goalkeeper, known for his wicked talent and record,for catching penalties. And yes, Herrera did catch many balls, that would have seen AC Osasuna, losing by more than 3 goals. Back to Olmo, after the first penalty kick was taken, the referee asks, that the penalty kick be retaken and this time, Olmo scored for Barcelona for a 2-0, in favor of Barca. At close to half time, at the 49th minute, of the first half Ferran Torres misses a free kick,for Barcelona. And then in the 75th minute, in the second half, Barcelona makes a substitute,Lewandowski the highest goal scorer for Barcelona, who comes off the bench and breaks into, AC Osasuna's loose defence and with a one touch and a header, scores Barcelona's third goal in the match, that ended 3-0 in favor of  Barcelona.


AC Osasuna came into this match, against  a formidable Barca, with an open midfield,a bad decision and a very bad strategy against a formidable team, like FC Barcelona, Osasunas's defence was tight but they didn't put in enough men, to score goals cause that's the only way to win a match. In this match, AC Osasuna, put in  just one striker, against formidable talents, in the FC Barcelona team and of course they were rewarded, they scored no goals and we're decimated by FC Barcelona.


Was this game, with FC Barcelona and AC Osasuna, a mismatch, I'll leave you to think about it. Cause the La Liga table, now looks clear,with FC Barcelona on top, with 63 points and Real Madrid trailing with 60 points.
